Cleaning the beaches of Odessa

As a part of international project “Zero Waste Strategy For Good Environmental Status” BSB_257 (ZEWSGES), supported by the general operation program Black sea basin 2014-2020, funded by the European Union the event of waste collection at the Langerone beach (Odessa) has been held.

 

15 persons were participating, including volunteers and UKRMEPA staff (Ukrainian_Marine_Environment_Protection_Association); over 50 kg of various waste was collected (including plastic waste, polymer bags, glass bottles, various kinds of packages, etc).

 

We are grateful to all participants of this interesting and useful event!

 

Let us improve the Black sea coast environment together! Let us make the Black sea coast clean and safe for leisure!
